The Biggest Ride of India – Rath Yatra 2026
Serving Devotees with Care, Compassion and the Spirit of Seva

Every year, thousands of devotees come to Puri with one hope—to have a glimpse of Lord Jagannath and be a part of the sacred Rath Yatra. For us at Sanyukt Organisation, this journey is also a reminder that devotion can take many forms, and one of the purest forms is seva.
During Rath Yatra and Bahuda Yatra 2026, our volunteers came together in Puri to serve devotees who travelled from different parts of Odisha and beyond. Away from the celebrations, our team spent long hours on the ground, ensuring that people had access to basic support when they needed it.
We served meals, drinking water, ORS and refreshments, while also supporting devotees with medical assistance. For someone who had been walking for hours, a bottle of water or a meal might seem small—but on the ground, we saw how these simple acts could bring relief, comfort and a smile to someone's face.
There were moments when volunteers themselves were tired, surrounded by huge crowds and working continuously. Yet, every time someone approached us for water, food or assistance, it reminded us why we were there.
The most meaningful part of the initiative was not the number of meals served or bottles distributed. It was the human connection—the elderly devotee who needed a little assistance, the family looking for basic refreshments, and the countless people who simply said “Thank you” before continuing their journey.
For our young volunteers, these moments became memories that went beyond an event. They learned that service does not always require something extraordinary. Sometimes, being present for someone at the right moment is itself a form of devotion.
Rath Yatra teaches us about faith, unity and togetherness. Our Seva is our small contribution to that spirit.
As the chariots moved forward, so did our volunteers—with tired feet, grateful hearts and a stronger belief in the power of togetherness.
